His modus apperandi.

- He has signed up on email lists then hides and lurks.
- He often uses aliases like "Bambi" or brazenly signs up his Listserver.
- In lurkdom, he harvests email addresses of innocent members. 
- He then uses them to spam.
- He may sell them to other spammers.
- When he signs up his list server, it answers posts with a spam.
- If you reply to him, he may send you more spam.
- He may refuse to remove you from his database and continue to spam.
- He resigns up on lists he was expelled from.
