ANNE MANX 3 : TROUBLE ON CHROMIUS
"Anne Manx and the Trouble On Chromius," the third story in
the Anne Manx series is out. Follow galactic
P.I. Anne Manx to a far flung world fighting for freedom, with "Babylon
5's" Claudia Christian as Anne Manx, "Angel's" Andy Hallett as
Archie, and "Xena's" Paris Jefferson as Wendy. In
the third installment of the Anne Manx series from the Radio
Repertory Company of America (RCAA), Anne is caught in the middle of a world
in revolt. After President Josephson eliminated the democratic
government and took power, the residents rebel and demand freedom. Archie (Andy Hallett) and Wendy (Paris
Jefferson) are rebellious citizens fighting for freedom and trying to
stay alive in President Josephson's tyrannical state. No one can be trusted, and
danger is ever present. It takes detective genius Annie Manx to sort through the web
of treachery and discover the truth. "The Trouble On Chromius"
is a mystery worthy of RCCA's goal of "theater of the mind."
This "audio play" will draw upon your imagination to create a
story of action and humor. It has won the
Gold Mark Time Award for Best Science Fiction Audio Production of 2002 of the The American Society For Science Fiction Audio (ASFSFA)
sponsored by The Minnesota Society for Interest in Science Fiction and Fantasy
(MISFITS). Judges considered it an, "Engaging story with real actors and a solid production" and "Best offering
yet from this perennially enthusiastic producer." Worried
fans of Patricia Tallman need not fear her absence in this episode. There is
word that Pat, who played Jean Richmond in the first two stories will be in the next installment. Though planned, the
title of the fourth Anne Manx project is unknown.
