JMS caught
in the act by surveillance cameras

Following the rumors of a substance abuse problem by the creator, writer
and producer
of Babylon 5 has been faced with a further rumor that he was fired from B5. Joseph
"TNT, the company in charge of demolishing B5, pretty much screwed
me," a very angry JMS says. JMS is the only maintenance worker to
last from the construction of Babylon 5 to it's end. In fact, it was JMS
who turned the lights out for the last time on the now dead station.
"Not too many thought the Babylon Project would survive. There were
four others that blew up or vanished. Not many stayed that long on the
station."
When questioned further about TNT's demolition of B5, JMS said, "Well,
TNT hadn't always been in charge of B5's maintenance. As a matter of
fact, they only had it a year."
So where was the problem?
"Creative differences, you might say. I wanted it sleek, clean, and
wholesome, you know? Like a well-oiled machine. But TNT wanted
something...I dunno, sexier...more violent somehow. Just look at the
holo-brothel. That took me a good week's fight with them just to get rid
of it. Finally, we decided to just blow the damn place up and get it
over with. It wasn't worth the hassle."
This confirms many rumors that flew around about why B5 was scrapped. Where
is JMS now?
"I'm considering some training for the Anla'Shok. It's my last,
best hope right now."
