In a shocking exclusive interview Babylon 5's Zathras claimed to be the illegitimate son of Scooby Doo.

According to the former B5 star his parents are Daphne and the cartoon series star dog Scooby Doo.

"Parents left at an early age.  Very bad for Zathras.  Sent Epsilon 3; live with Draal."

Zathras went on to describe the circumstances of his birth in which a young woman in the puritan late fifties was sent abroad to give birth.

"Very ashamed, family was.  Left poor Zathras. Hard life, no fun for Zathras.  Such is life of Zathras."

The question arose as to where the other Zathri came from.

"Zathras was one of big litter.  Many sibling for Zathras,  We twins.  Draal call us clones."

Zathras did not want to address the issue of, "Why now"   This question put him on the defensive and sparked an uncharacteristic burst of anger.

Daphne

"She live lie. She ignore Zathras. She owe Zathras more. Mom b____ " 
( interlak translation : "canine single Mother").

When asked if, he was seeking part of the Scooby Doo media fortune, Zathras denied any monetary motives.

"Zathras want acceptance.  Zathras not work now, but Zathras just want acceptance. Very misunderstood Zathras is.  Zathras not even ask part in new movie."

When asked about the story, Scooby said, "Whrawt? Was Wruppy Wove. Wno more."

Goth Daphne

Daphne, now in seclusion at her Venice Beach home, is rarely seen except on rare excursions to Goth night clubs and on dates with Marilyn Manson.  When sought for a response to Scooby's puppy love statement and her son's allegation, star Daphne refused comment.
