BABYLON PARK: GRUDGEMATCH WINS A TELLY AWARD!

"Babylon Park: Grudgematch" took home a silver trophy in the animation category of the Telly awards.

Many of you are familiar with Babylon Park, the South Park alter ego of the B5 arc often referred to as "BPark."  This alternate dimension has brought forth such great creations as "Frightspace" and "Grudgematch."

The talent behind these projects have finally gotten some recognition  in the form of a Telly Award, specifically the silver trophy in the animation category.

The Telly "is a prestigious award in the television industry. Submitted as a
Non Broadcast production amidst 11,000+ entries in all categories." This
Award was judged on its animation merits.

In the words of its Producer ( Kosh of B5 ), "Babylon Park: Grudgematch" is a half hour hysterical parody of " Babylon 5 " versus " Star Trek: Voyager " and many other Sci-Fi shows, presented in the animation style of " South Park. "  It is the second episode in the series, following "Babylon Park: Frightspace," a wonderful parody of Babylon 5's TNT movie, "Thirdspace".

The talent of "Babylon Park: Grudgematch" includes features the voice talents of Babylon 5 cast alumni:

Wayne Alexander , Lorien and other in B5
Robin Atkin Downes, Byron in B5
Maggie Egan, the ISN anchor in B5
Patricia Tallman, Lyta in B5
Jeffrey Willerth, a B5 Associate Producer and B5's Kosh

The project is brought together with filmmakers Brian Roe, Christopher Russo, Neely Stewart and is produced by Jeffrey Willerth and Brian Roe.  The music is by Tom Smith, renowned for his B5 satire "Five Years."  BPark is a creation of Christopher Russo.

The project is also in contention at New York Film Festival and Brooklyn Film Festivals. The Galactic Inquizitor will also bring you those results as they come in.
