David Sheridan is the son
of En`thil`Zha Delenn and president
Sheridan of the ISA. Born on
Minbar he was educated according the Minbari traditions, however, his
father and his mother saw to it that he received a human background as
well. He started his Ranger training as a young boy and at 16 years he
already had enough skills of being a good pilot. However, being the
son of the President of the ISA he had limited freedom compared to
other kids. This was partly due to the fact that he was a good
target which led to discussions between him and his father, who would
have only allowed him to fly alone at the age of 18 not at 16.
There is also to mention that his life indeed was in danger since his
birth. Before David's birth the President held his first party at his
his residence in Minbar. Emperor Londo Mollari, under control of
a Drakh attended and gave Sheridan an urn which secretly had a keeper
in it. Londo stated that the urn should be a birthday present
for the son David at the age of 16. From day the boy was born he had
weird dreams. These were in reality manipulations of the keeper
to get the boy's trust before it would use him. At the age of 16, the
David opens the urn and gets infected with the keeper. He endangers
the alliance, the life of President Sheridan, and Delenn as he steals
a flyer and heads to Centauri Prime where he could be used as a
hostage for the ISA. Luckily Londo gets his keeper drunk.
Sheridan and Delenn offering Londo their lives and Londo shows way to
escape with their son. In the end, the Drakh who gave
birth to David's keeper is killed. This causes the death of
David's keeper which is linked to the Drakh and thus and David is
rescued. David can't remember anything and continues a life of honor.
