Captain Montoya also observed Findell’s self-doubt as Findell panicked in a space survival test, and then, fearing failure, attempted to kill himself by crashing into an asteroid on a test of close proximity piloting and firing skills. Lennier saved Findell’s life by disabling his engines and pushing his fighter to safety.
