Kitaro Sasaki is a human
Ranger . He served with David Martel on the
Liandra as navigation,
communications and translations specialist. Most language translations are
done by the ships automatic translations system however, Kitaro can do
"verbal" translations.
The Liandra was thought to be haunted and cursed. The prior crew were all found dead on board. This has yet to be explained.
This Ranger has been
described as "loyal, honest, ... diligent, .... just happy to be
there, ... someone that can always be relied upon ... to get the
job done .... " Kitaro is also competent in the martial
arts.
